Balthazar is a boutique events agency that had a positioning problem: everyone in the category competes on credentials, and credentials are cold.

Event planning already has all the right ingredients — timing, chemistry, attention to detail, knowing how to make an impression — so we leaned all the way in. I led the platform idea and messaging, turning Balthazar into the world’s best date agency. Not an events company you hire, but one you connect with. The kind you want to see again.

From there, everything clicked into place. The language borrows from dating, but never feels like a gimmick. It just makes the whole thing more human, more memorable, and a bit more charming to interact with.
